Author Talk and Book Signing:
A Change of Habit by Sister Monica Clare
Thurs, Nov. 13 | 7:00 pm | Parish Hall

Sister Monica Clare shocked everyone—herself included—by leaving behind a high-stress advertising career, a failing marriage, and a life of celebrity parties. Her epiphany came at Jimmy Fallon’s Birthday Party and realized she yearned for a more meaningful life. Monica traded red carpets for robes, joining an Episcopal convent where silence, simplicity, and sisterhood reshaped her life.

In her book, she shares her surprising journey with honesty and humor—how she found healing, challenged old rules, and helped create a more compassionate community. Part spiritual memoir, part reminder that it’s never too late to change your life, this book invites readers to let go of perfection, embrace authenticity, and reconnect with what really matters.
